CHILD- ORIENTED POLICIES” was carried out in Kingstown, Saint

countries, during the 78th Meeting of the Directing Council
On May 22, 2003, the President and the Rector of Paraguay's Universidad
Columbia signed a General Cooperation Agreement
between that University and the Inter-American Children's Institute
(IIN). With this agreement, the two institutions will carry out joint
academic activities, and the participants at the Seminar will receive
evaluations and obtain the corresponding accreditation.
Last
Thursday, May 15, the Seminar "Child Sex Tourism:A Challenge for Responsible Journalists" was held in
Montevideo, Uruguay, organized by the International Federation of Journalists (FIP) and the Uruguayan
Press Association (APU).
The Director General of the Inter-American Children's
Institute, Lic. Alejandro Bonasso, was specially
invited to participate at this Seminar.
