Culture Rights

In order to contribute to the development of public policies that guarantee the promotion, protection and exercise of the rights of girls, boys and adolescents, and thus contribute to the construction of a Culture of Rights, the IIN proposes to collect and share information from the States of the Inter-American System regarding different practices that are significant due to their design or implementation.

As a regional benchmark in childhood policies with a rights perspective, the Institute has been working to strengthen a communication policy that makes available to States and organizations that work with children, information, tools, studies and productions that contribute to their work.

This space will expose content related to significant practices associated with recreational, artistic and / or cultural components, developed by or for girls, boys and adolescents, and campaigns aimed at raising awareness, promoting and protecting the exercise of rights in the States of the Americas and the Caribbean, hoping that the validated and systematized material be a contribution of varied experiences, as well as a motivating element of other actions for the protection and exercise of rights appropriate to each reality.

Regardless of the origin of the action surveyed, the identification of contents that the IIN will carry out will be based on the concept of co-responsibility in strengthening the Comprehensive Protection System for Children and Adolescents, integrating material from practices developed by public institutions of the State, private enterprises or civil society organizations.
