AGREEMENTS CONCLUDED BY THE OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR GENERAL |

THE DIRECTING COUNCIL, HAVING SEEN: The thirteen General Cooperation Agreements, fourteen Agreements and six Addenda to Agreements concluded by the Office of the Director General ad referendum of their subsequent ratification by the Directing Council, as well as the three Memoranda of Understanding which do not require such ratification but have been equally analyzed, thus totaling thirty-six documents the details of which are contained in document CD/doc. 21/04 of this Meeting; The observations included in a separate Act made by the Working Group of the Directing Council on the Review of the Agreements concluded by the Office of the Director General of the Inter-American Children’s Institute, formed by the Delegate of Barbados and the Alternate Delegate of Paraguay. CONSIDERING: That the above mentioned agreements are framed within the action policies of the Inter-American Children’s Institute previously approved by the Directing Council and have been concluded according to the powers that the Statutes confer to the Director General. RESOLVES: 1. To ratify the agreements concluded by the Director General of the Inter-American Children’s Institute with its respective counterparts as contained in document CD/doc. 21/04 of the 79th Meeting of the Directing Council. 2. To inform the Office of the Director General on the observations made by the Working Group for the Review of the Agreements.
