THE DIRECTING COUNCIL,

CONSIDERING:

That Article 20 in the Statute and Article 2 in the Rules of Procedure on the election of the Authorities of the Directing Council and the IIN Office establishes that every two years the Council will appoint its Vice President among its members, who should be elected by the majority of Member states;

That the Government of Chile nominated its Delegate and present Vice President of the Directing Council, Ms. Delia del Gatto Reyes;

That 19 Member states were present at the time of the election.

RESOLVES:

To appoint Ms. Delia del Gatto Reyes as the Vice President of the Directing Council for the 2004-2006 term of office.
