THE DIRECTING COUNCIL, HAVING SEEN: The remarkable and devoted work accomplished by Ambassador Carmen Bergés de Amaro in her capacity as Delegate of the Government of the Dominican Republic to the Directing Council of the Inter-American Children’s Institute, and particularly her performance as President of the Directing Council during the 2002-2004 term; CONSIDERING: The valuable contribution made by Ambassador Carmen Bergés de Amaro during her term of office as President of the Directing Council of the Inter-American Children’s Institute; RESOLVES: To appoint, with a vote of applause, Ambassador Carmen Bergés de Amaro, Delegate of the Dominican Republic, as President of Honor of the Directing Council of the IIN. |
