The Inter-American Children’s Institute and the CLAEH Institute for University Studies in Uruguay have started the academic program of Diploma and Master’s Degree in Infancy and Adolescence Policies for the Prevention of Drug Addiction

On April 8th 2003, there commenced in the IIN’S head office the first course corresponding to the academic program of Diploma and Master’s Degree in Infancy and Adolescence Policies for the Prevention of Drug Addiction, as part of the General Agreement of Cooperation between the IIN and the Latin American Centre for Human Economics (CLAEH) that is currently in force. 

This academic proposal is part of the activities jointly carried out between the IIN’S Program for the Integral Promotion of Children’s Rights and some universities in the region, such as the University of the Republic in Uruguay, Universidad Mayor de San Simón in Bolivia, Universidad Católica Santa María la Antigua in Panama and Universidad Diego Portales in Chile. 

The Academic Opening Ceremony will soon be held with the participation of the principal high-ranking officials from the IIN and the CLAEH.
