CONSIDERING: 

That on the 25^th July 1994 the Inter-American Children’s Institute (IIN) and the Consejo Nacional del Menor y la Familia (National Council for Youth and Families)  signed an agreement for the establishment of an Information Centre for the Inter-American Network for Information on Childhood (RIIN) in the Republic of Argentina.  

That on the 12^th May 2000 both organizations agreed to extend the duration of the abovementioned agreement. 

That on the 19^th February 2003 the National Council on Children, Adolescents and Family (CNNAF) determined to create a National System for Information on Childhood, Adolescence and Family, as part of the Social Observational Plan for Childhood and Adolescence. 

WHEREAS: 

The IIN and the CNNAF agree to combine forces in order to promote the National System for Information on Childhood, Adolescence and Family in each and every one of the provinces of the Republic of Argentina. 

This National System for Information on Childhood, Adolescence and Family will prioritise the collection and dissemination of information from organizations, projects and documents dealing with children’s rights. 

The IIN will support the CNNAF in carrying out the training and  the establishment that are conveniently determined, providing also the maintenance support needed for the development of the National System for Information on Childhood, Adolescence and Family. 

This Addendum has been signed between Norberto Liwski, President of the National Council on Children, Adolescents and Family, and Alejandro Bonasso, Director General (Head) of the Inter-American Children’s Institute -who has signed ad referendum of the IIN’S Directing Council, in the city of Buenos Aires, on the 14^th day of March of the year 2003.

IN VIEW OF that contained in File 1-1000-1870-2003 of the record kept by this National Council, and 

CONSIDERING: 

That in the said file there is processed the Addendum to the agreement held between this NATIONAL COUNCIL and the INTER-AMERICAN CHILDREN’S INSTITUTE. 

That it is necessary that this Addendum be recorded in a protocol. 

That this National Council’s DIRECTION OF LEGAL AFFAIRS has intervened in what comes under its responsibility. 

That action is taken in accordance with the powers given by that established in article 9, sections a) and j) of Decree number 1606/90. 

Therefore, 

THE PRESIDENT OF THE NATIONAL COUNCIL ON CHILDREN, ADOLESCENTS AND FAMILY HEREBY COMMANDS: 

ARTICLE 1-That the Addendum to the agreement held between the NATIONAL COUNCIL ON CHILDREN, ADOLESCENTS AND FAMILY and the INTER-AMERICAN CHILDREN’S INSTITUTE, which is added hereto and is to be considered an integral part of these presents, be recorded in a protocol. 

ARTICLE 2-That this be recorded, communicated and filed.
