RECOGNITION TO THE GOVERNMENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF BRAZIL FOR HOSTING THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE DIRECTING COUNCIL

THE DIRECTING COUNCIL,

 

CONSIDERING:

 

1.   That resolution CD/RES. 16 (79-04) established that the Special Meeting of the Directing Council should be held in the city of Brasilia, Federal Republic of Brazil;

 

2.   That the Office of the Deputy Secretary for the Promotion of Children’s Rights of the Special Secretariat for Human Rights of the Government of the Federal Republic of Brazil strongly supported the Director General’s Office of the IIN in organizing and holding the Special Meeting of the Directing Council;

 

 

RESOLVES:

 

To state its appreciation to the Government of the Federal Republic of Brazil, and particularly to the Office of the Deputy Secretary for the Promotion of Children’s Rights through the delegate of Brazil to the Directing Council, Mr. Amarildo Baesso, for its important support to the organization and development of the Special Meeting of the Directing Council of the Inter-American Children’s Institute.
